HARRISVILLE | SHETLAND :: ODD LOTS

We work hard to stock sweater quantities for you, so when we receive a yarn delivery with a new dyelot, we separate out the old and new. Our "odd lots" are moved here and discounted while they last in the colors and quantities listed. Unless otherwise noted, all skeins within a color are the same dyelot.

All sales on odd lots are final.

One of Harrisville's core yarns, available in 64 colors, Shetland is a versatile workhorse that's quickly become one of ours, as well. This yarn is not made from Shetland Wool - rather, the name 'Shetland' refers to the size of the yarn and not the fiber content. The wool is a blend of an Australian fine wool and a hearty New Zealand wool that gives the yarn its luster.

Shetland is spun more tightly on the spinning frames (higher turns per inch) so it is highly durable and will wear better and better every year. Don’t let the crunch fool you. It will soften over time and will become a favorite sweater or accessory.

Good for weaving, knitting, crocheting. Fulls beautifully, softens and long wearing!
