Artus Knitalong

We’re so glad you’re joining our Artus Knitalong - we loved knitting this project and can’t wait to knit a second version with you!

DATES | Friday, August 15th - October 10th, 2025 - you can cast on anytime on or after the start date, and there's plenty of time to complete your project if you can’t cast on right away.

Our KAL will be hosted here on Ravelry - everyone is welcome to join our KAL, but only NEW projects using 75% or more of Firefly Fibers yarn will be eligible for prize drawings.

Color 1: approx 470 m / 515 yards
Color 2: approx 180 m / 195 yards
Color 3: approx 270 m / 295 yards
Color 4: approx 120 m / 130 yards
Color 5: approx 130 m / 142 yards

We’re confident in these 3 yarns being well-suited for the project, but you're welcome to use other yarns from our shop, or go stash diving.

• PATTERN - Read over the techniques and purchase the Artus pattern here on Ravelry.
• YARN - Our shop yarn recommendations are listed above and we’re happy to send photos of yarn combos if you have a starting point. Just email us at the shop with what you’re thinking and we’ll happily put colors together for you in a photo.
• We ship quickly and orders placed by August 7th should arrive in time for cast on day with flat rate shipping, but Priority Mail is also an option for quicker delivery.
• SIGN UP - Join our Ravelry group here and, once you've selected your yarn, create a project page and share it in our Artus KAL thread.
• SHARE - Introduce yourself, share yarn and project photos, and chat on your project(s) in the KAL thread on Ravelry. If you need help selecting yarn colors, our group will be a good resource for helping you decide. ;)
• Tag your project with FireflyArtus25 on Ravelry and #FireflyArtus25 on Instagram. Please note that photos tagged may be used in our newsletter and on our social media.
• FINISHING AND PRIZES - Prizes for projects using the majority of the yarn (75% or more) purchased from Firefly Fibers are eligible for our drawings and you can post your prize entries here.
• If you’re an overachiever and want to knit more than one project, you’ll get one entry for each project.
• To enter, finish your project(s) by the end date and post a photo in our KAL FO thread (coming soon) no later than October 14, 2025.
• There will be FO and WIP prizes, WIPs just need to be at least 50% completed.
• Winners will be announced shortly after October 14th, 2025 here on Ravelry.
• STASH YARNS? Yes, you can knit along using any yarn, including stash yarn from another shop, but only new projects using 75% or more of yarn purchased from Firefly Fibers (stash is fine) will be eligible for our drawings.
