This is an in-person appointment at our brick-and-mortar shop during the Wandering Ewe Yarn Crawl. To register, please review our class policies and place one order for your session (or sessions) and a separate order for any merchandise items. Thanks!
DATE & TIMES | Friday, June 20th at our brick-and-mortar shop. One-on-one sessions (25 minutes each) available 10am-3pm with Sweater Fit Expert, Lynn Marie.
ABOUT OUR SESSIONS | This is your time to get one-on-one support from a sweater fitting expert on ONE of the below topics. Want to cover more than one topic? Just select back-to-back appointments. After you register, an email will be sent for you to confirm your chosen topic/s so Lynn Marie can plan ahead.
1. MEASUREMENT SESSION The basis of all fitting begins with accurate measurements. Be measured in a supportive and non-judgmental environment, then get a crash course on how to use these measurements to improve your fit. Please wear a cami, tank top or other
2. FIT SESSION Bring in your own sweater that has a fit issue. We will pinpoint the issue and discuss solutions that can be applied to future projects. This can be a garment that you’ve knitted or purchased. If you knit it please bring the pattern as well.
3. PLANNING SESSION Bring in a pattern that you intend to knit and we will work through your body chart and pattern together, adjusting as needed, keeping in mind any specific fit issues you have. Please bring your completed body measurements for all measurements that the pattern calls for, or also register for the Measurement Session.
GUEST INSTRUCTOR BIO | Lynn Marie has worked in the commercial apparel industry for close to 20 years as a designer, technical designer, and product developer for sweaters and knitwear. She translates her extensive fitting experience to be applicable for the hand knitter. She is an avid knitter, sewist, crafter, and vintage enthusiast.
